Writing about the technology I love.

I'm Tarek Znait. I started this site because I was tired of reading tech coverage that felt like it was written for someone else — someone who upgrades their phone every six months, someone who thinks "smart home" means a $400 doorbell, someone who treats gadgets as status symbols instead of tools.

I'm interested in technology that actually does something useful. The gadgets that punch above their price. The DIY projects you can build with parts from AliExpress. The EVs that might make sense for real people. The phones that offers something special. The smart home setups that don't require a PhD or a fortune.

I write about what I'm genuinely curious about. Sometimes that's a teardown of a new device. Sometimes it's a weekend project wiring up sensors at home. Sometimes it's just trying to understand a scientific idea well enough to explain it simply.

This site is built to stay fast, lightweight, and independent — no pop-ups, no paywalls, no algorithmic feeds deciding what you see. Just articles, published when they're ready.

If any of that resonates with you, you're the reason this exists.
